Watch for announcements of new events Announcements of new events are about to come your way for the coming year. The first event is actually the start of a series of seven, highly acclaimed business workshops presented by business faculty at BCIT (British Columbia Institute of Technology) through the Delta Chamber of Commerce. The series begins on January 16 at 7:30 am, at the Delta Town & Country Inn, and runs weekly through late February. A new type of event, "Up Close and Personal," holding tours and networking events at company worksites, also begins on January 16 at lunchtime. On January 30 our first monthly luncheon of the new year is scheduled. Final arrangements are being made on the topic of security related to shipping, ports and transportation infrastructure -- a concern shared by countries around the world. Details to be announced in the next few days. New website for Delta Chamber of Commerce The Delta Chamber of Commerce officially announces the launch of its new website as a community of business information, networking and advocacy for its members and the Delta community. >>more information>> E-mail disruption Nov. 30 to Dec. 7, 2007 Please re-send any messages you may have tried to send to the Delta Chamber from November 30 to December 7, 2007.
